Welcome to The Peoples Education Society Institute of Technology at Bangalore - information capital of India. PESIT
one of the largest component of the Bangalore University and the Visveswaraiah Technological University.
The
People's education society (PES) was established in 1972, in Bangalore with an ambition to promote and disseminate knowledge
and serve in the general cause of education. The society has been continously aiming at developing qaulity human resources
and maintaining high academic standards, covering large segments of the student community.
The relentless pursuit
of excellence by Prof. M.R. Doreswamy, Founder, PES, has led us to strive for quality in all our activities. The Campus Wide
Quality Improvement Programs and support programs have provided the students with intellectual depth and training, necessary
to pursue productive careers in their professions.
PESIT is a major research university that is home to 2,000
students. From teaching, to research, to public service, the college's activities support its core purpose:
to provide
the students a sense of history , an
understanding of values and ethics , an appreciation of
human creativity and
an analytical enquiring mind.
